Diary of a part time blogger
It is not easy being a part time blogger especially if you are new to blogging.
I have gone through it and realised that it is not as easy as I thought. Time management is crucial because as a part timer, you don’t have the luxury to be in front of your computer the whole day. You have to juggle between your full time job and blogging. Your full time job will demand at least 12 hours of your time including time spent travelling to and fro work. By the time you reach home you may be too tired to sit down in front of your computer and if you can find time to do so, you may not have any idea of what topic to write about. This maybe worse if you are a family man with young children to look after.My day starts at 6.30am in the morning when my little 1 year old boy wakes up. Then it is getting ready to go to work and to reach the office by 9.00am. Leaving office at 6.00pm, reaching home after dinner and picking up my children at 8.45pm. By the time getting the children to settle down to bed, it is already 10.30pm. By that time I am too tired to even switch on my computer. I have tried to work on my blog after the children have gone to bed and work late into the night but it has affected my health due to lack of sleep.
Guess I have to learn time management if I want to succeed in this blogging business. If you are blogging part time and facing the similar challenges or otherwise, do feel free to drop in a comment or two.

Just wanted to sympathize with you. I agree it is really hard sometimes to be a part-time blogger, especially when you have a full time job and a family to care for. Time management is key to a successful blog and or online business. This is where organization skills and a map of where you want to be and how you are going to get there come in real handy.
This is so similar to my own story. My boy is now 10month old, and living with me, his mother is seeing him only on weekends. For sure it is not easy and it is extremely time consuming, but after all it is a great joy that one could experience. So I do also fully sympathize with you as well, and by the way, your blog is still great.
