Google fear factor

Tag, ,

Google has done it again recently and this time it seems that PPP bloggers are the hardest hit.

Many PPP blogs have their PageRank reduced to zero. Has Google created the fear factor in us? It may for some but not for all.

I have dedicated this blog for paid blogging. I have the disclosure on my blog and am now waiting for my blog to turn 90 days old so that I can registered with Pay Per Post. They have turned me down once because my blog has not fully grown up yet. Whether I have been penalised by Google for dedicating this blog for Pay Per Post, I can’t tell. My blog is two months old now but since it was not approved by Pay Per Post, I do not have any paid posts on my blog yet. But despite all my effort to boost up my PR, it just did not seem to move at all. It remained at zero from day one until now even though my Alexa ranking has improved quite a bit. My two other blogs which were quite as new has a PR1 each. Did this blog suffered from the Google slap? I guess it did.

No matter how, I was determined not to let the Google fear factor destroy my objectives for this blog. Advertisers for paid posts do consider PR as a criteria for selecting the posties. With a PR0, I may not even get an offer. Well I will worry about that when my blog gets its approval from Pay Per Post. I have to be patient for another month before I can re-submit my application.

It is good that Izea (Pay Per Post’s new identity) is coming up with its own PR called RealRanker. If PPP is going to drop Google’s PR from its criteria list and use their own RealRanker, then who cares about Google’s PR0? I don’t even care if it is a negative. But having said that, how reliable is RealRanker in its PR? This is yet to be seen. RealRanker gives a 7 for this blog. But my other blog which has a Google’s PR1 is given a PR1 by RealRanker. Obviously my other blog has more traffic, page views and inbound links, but it beats me why RealRanker ranks it lower. All being said, it is for you to judge whether RealRanker is accurate in its ranking.

Comments are welcome.

If you think that online business has made you felt like you don’t worth a single cent and you are down and out, and there is no way you can make it online, here is some encouragement for you. Don’t give up hope yet. There is still a light at the end of the tunnel. You may not know anything or everything there is to learn on the internet. You felt like you are struggling to stay afloat in the deep water in cyberspace. But remember, that was what most internet marketer faced when they started.

Gobala Krishnan, the down to earth internet guy has listed down his timeline of what he has gone through and his story was not a rosy start at the beginning. But he learned along the way and he is what he is now today, a successful figure in the internet world. Reading his story has really encouraged me. I believe that with determination, all of us can make it provided we are willing to learn. It may not be easy but definitely we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And rest assured, the light will not be the light of an oncoming train. It will be the light to financial freedom! That’s my dream and my hope.

Many online entrepreneurs would boast about how much they make online and would display an income statement on their killer sales page to show the online entrepreneur wannabes with the intention to entice them to buy their products, which claimed to be able to help them achieve their dreams to be successful online.

I came across an article in GobalaKrishnan.com posted by the author himself, his analysis of his online income, not with the purpose of selling his products but with the intention of sharing his online experience with fellow readers. He analyzed the reasons for his business ups and downs and shared with his readers what he has learned from it all and suggested ways to help the readers to grow their business.

A valuable piece of advice for all bloggers and internet marketers

BlogRush

Talking about BlogRush, it has created such a big wave recently but all has quietened down a bit. The reason is they are working on the phase 2 which is scheduled to be launched in 7 days. It promises more benefits to its members. So I will just keep my fingers crossed and wait for the launch. In the mean time I will take out the Rush from the Blog. At the moment they are doing manual reviewing to approve the widget before letting it being displayed on your blog. So there is no need to rush. Hey where is my widget? It has been ages and it is still not being displayed yet on my blog  :-(

Well just got to learn to be patient, I guess.

For those who do not know what BlogRush is all about, it is much like a viral type of system that helps to drive traffic to your blog. You can check it out here.

Amazing income blogging

While surfing the net, I came across this post. Shoppingmum has hit USD10k from PayPerPost. It is amazing how she did it but it does prove one thing, that is, good money can be made from blogging. It is hard to believe but it has been done, not just by Shoppingmum, but by many others too. It is not impossible. Only if you know how to do it, it is indeed possible.

What else could be better. Making money and I mean really good money by doing something you are passionate about and that is blogging. You write your heart away and pour out your emotion for the whole world to know. It is your right to express your thoughts the way you want to and at the same time, you get paid for doing that either directly or indirectly. There are just so many ways to monetized your blog. Do some research and you will find one that you really like or you can even combine a few to maximise your earnings.

New from PayPal

PayPal has restriction for people staying in the so called not so developed countries. In such countries, the people can pay funds for transaction done through the internet but not allowed to received funds for business done online through PayPal. Well not exactly. Let me correct myself. To be more correct, they are not allowed to withdraw funds received from internet transactions. I do not know why. PayPal has their own reason for imposing this restriction but this has definitely discouraged many online business entrepreneurs. :-(

But wait! PayPal has just announced the good news. The restriction has been lifted. You can now transfer your funds to your Visa credit card or debit card. Now that is what I called freedom in the web.

You can see the simple instructions for the fund transfer here.
